Work Study
A work-study program provides part-time jobs for students with demonstrated financial need. It allows you to earn credit to help cover educational expenses through earned credit hours without accumulating debt.
Whether you are already attending a local institution or exploring options, work-study comes with specific rules, local opportunities, and application steps:
How It Works
-
Not a Guarantee: An award on your financial aid package means you are eligible to apply; you must still secure application and interview,
-
Flexible Hours: Jobs are usually on-campus or with our approved non-profit organization North Idaho Horsmanship Academy, and are designed to work around your schedule (typically capping at 19-20 hours per week).
-
Earnings: You are credited an hourly rate and can use the credit for covering tuition and show expenses.
